- I wouldn't use them, I have tried and ended up with lots of spam and scams. You would be better off going to your local unemployment office and checking the Sunday papers. Good Luck! Don't fall for those work at home online things, they are all scams!
- I've had the same experience- 99% of them are scams and spam. Craigslist really needs to police their site more. Some real sites that I have used are: Careerbuilder.com Indeed.com linkup.com monster.com hotjobs.com regionalhelpwanted.com
- If you use craiglist, then a couple of suggestions that i have done. 1) Looked for ads that have company names listed in them with a website, and then I will check to see if that job is posted on their website. 2) I will also request a read receipt for those resumes that I send without a company name, and that shows what company they are with.
- I would be careful about applying on craigslist. they might be scams.
- I use craigslist for jobs and two jobs ive applied to on craigslist I have gotten interviews for (with in the last week!) but there is scams so; If they have the comany name listed look it up (Google it!) Make sure if it seems like a scam, it most likely is trust your gut feeling.dont give out any information! Allways work locally meaning if it sounds fake (like you have never herd about it and no one else has) it is most likely a scam. Email your resume alot of post ive seen just list an email address to reply to. Allway interview in public places! Craigslist can be really useful, but if you see something fake just "flag" it
