Need help finding a car under $1000 in houston?

other than craigslist where else can i find a car for a grand or under???

Used cars are everywhere -- in the newspaper, in free autotrader magazines at your auto parts store, online, consignment lots, etc. Here's a list of about 20 different places to look: http://www.leaseguide.com/Articles/cheapcars.htm However, find a good car for only $1000 will take a lot of looking, test driving, and inspecting. Not that it is impossible, it's just fairly difficult.
