Does anyone know any leasing agents who can help me find and apartment in the Orange County, CA area?

I have been trying to find a leasing agent online for weeks but have been unsuccessful. I'll be searching for leasing agents and potential job opportunities (for those seeking to become leasing agents) will come up; some agents I have contacted will tell me they only deal with buyers and sellers, (as opposed to tenants and landlords), or only with houses, not apartments/condos; some have refused to listen to me and when given my monetary limitations or other requirements have simply ignored them and while promising to send me dozens of listings fitting my criteria, have only sent me a mere 3-4, NONE OF THEM MATCHING ANY OF MY REQUIREMENTS. Also, so sick of being reffered to craigslist, I mean if that is what I wanted, why the heck would I seek out the services of a leasing agent?? Also, my budget is about $1000-1150 per month, so if you know anyone willing to work within that budget that would be great. As I said, I am willing to live pretty much anywhere within the Orange County area, but prefer the San Clemente, Laguna Niguel, San Juan Capristrano, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, or Dana Point areas.

1. You are looking for the wrong term. A Leasing Agent is generally an employee of an apartment complex who shows units just for that complex. You need a Property Manager who handles multiple units in that geographic area, or a rental referral service who, for a fee, will take your criteria and return a list of appropriate rentals. Also, your budget is VERY low for that area, so it's no wonder they have so few listings for you. Rentals.com or roommates.com can give you some idea of the rent range. Either be willing to do the work yourself, or adjust your criteria to match the market you're in. Perhaps looking for a share rental will help you get into a nice place that you can afford? Good luck!
