Moved to Phoenix 6 months ago. Why are so many telemarketers calling my house when I'm on the do not call list?

I registered our phone number on the do not call registry 6 months ago as well. Why is it that I'm still getting tons of telemarketers? When we lived in Kansas, we were on the list and never got any calls. Is it because Phoenix is a big city?

1. double check that your number is actually on the list, you have to re register your number every so often. if your number is on the list and your still getting telemarketing calls ask the business when they call to take your number off their list and report the business to the do not call registry (: hope this helps
2. Telemarketers don't care about that list. They make so much money the few fines they get are worth it. Now for the good news. You can sue them in small claims court. 90% of the time they will settle out of court. Go to www.ucan.org and learn everything you need to know most importantly. Act interested in what they are selling , earn their trust while getting the information you need.
