  1. Try indeed and hotjobs.com
  2. CareerBuilder and http://www.job-search-engine.com seems to be the only ones worth your time searching, but you should make sure your resume is on all of them. Don't forget yahoo Hotjobs. There are also some job sites which specialize in specific skill areas (e.g., Dice.com). Get your resume out to as many as you possibly can find. Do a Google search on the phrase "job board" Remember that there are - on average - about 6 applicants for every single job opportunity, so don't lose heart. It could take you a year or more to find something. Best way to find a job is through networking. (I know, easier said than done.)

  5. Personally, I have never received a job offer through Monster, Career Builder, or Craigslist. One of the biggest ways to get a job is through networking offline. Old bosses, co-workers, or friends might know someone who's looking to hire and help give you an inside track to applying for the position. You can also give http://www.LinkedIn.com a look as it's a networking site specifically geared towards networking between professionals. A temp agency might also be a good idea to look into as they have access to listings that may not be available otherwise. If you go this route, contact at least two and keep in contact with them. A lot of agencies are receiving many resumes and it's hard to stand out. Also make use of official company websites where there are often links to career opportunities and listings of jobs available. I know how frustrating it can be looking for a new job and wish you the best of luck!

  7. I wish you luck in your job search. I've found that learning what employers are looking for is a great way to get in the door.....become what they're after! Try www.employwinners.com it has some excellent courses on how employers find the right fit for their company....make yourself the right fit and you'll have better luck! Cheers!
