how to find a month-to-month lease in seattle for the summer?

I'm from Seattle, but don't know how to go about looking for short, flexible leases for a (cheap/small) studio apartment for 3-4 months (preferably Capitol Hill or another centrally-located area). I have tried craigslist, nwapartments.com, etc. Just wondering if there is some obvious website, newspaper, real estate company that I should be looking for. Thanks!

  1. try backpage.com
  2. Subleasing is usually your best bet. I've found they're easiest found on CL. Just don't get your heart set on one because the people on CL tend to flake out a bit.
