How should I list two separate job duties on my resume?
I am a veterinary technician at a specialty practice and I work two different services: Emergency and Cardiology. The duties for each of these services vary greatly, although there is some overlap. What would be the best way for me to list these on my resume? Have one section as ER tech and one section as Cardiology Tech? Or just list them together? Not really sure what would be best. Thanks!

- List them separately with appropriate headings. It will look better organized. Keep your resume to one page.
- On your Resume you list both jobs. As an example:- Veterinary Technician Blog Vet Practice 2005-2009 Responsible for carrying out emergency procedures within a busy veterinary practice. Duties included the strict adherence to Health and Safety procedures, stringent Hygiene constraints whilst observing Rules, Regulations and Procedures of the Practice, setting up laboratory equipment, taking blood samples, running hemoglobin tests, etc, etc etc Cardiology Technician Blog Vet Practice 2005-2009 Responsible for the accurate reporting of Cardiology requirements within a busy veterinary practice. Duties included strict adherence to Health and Safety procedures, stringent Hygiene constraints whilst observing Rules, Regulations and Procedures of the Practice etc, etc, etc In this way you not only give a little "meat" to your Resume but you also describe both jobs even though they are for the same Practice.
- You can arrange them how you like, but I suggest putting two sections under your experience entry for the specialty practice. Try looking at the ""multiple job titles" template example on this page: http://mycareercorner.com/index.php?p=tools_and_resources/resume_templates
