what do radio deejays do ?

i would like to know exactly what radio deejays do, the minimum salary, what kind of degree u need if that is nessecary....and i also need to know if there are current available jobs/ how many jobs are usually open yearly thank u becca

1. A communications degree would probably be preferred, especially a focus on Broadcast Communications (see Connecticut School of Broadcasting). However, with Satellite feeds taking over most stations, it may become harder and harder to get on the air.
