on great career search.com i try to submit my resume & it keeps saying "Please select an acceptable file type"?
it doesnt tell me what kind of file type is takes or supports. I saved it three times one as resume.htm another as resume.atp. and another as just as job resume and neither one works. i built this resume through buildaresume.com i saved it again as resume.txt and resume.doc and still it says please select an acceptable file type?

- OK, so what type of file are you trying to upload? And what are the file types they want you to use? Obviously whatever you're trying to give them isn't in a format that they can use, so you'll have to save it as some other file type and upload it that way.
- You are going to want to save the resume as a MS Word (.doc) or plain text (.txt) file to work with *most* companies or resume sites. They use computers to automatically search resumes for terms, and they need regular text to do that. If you're sending it to a person, you will usually want a Adobe Acrobat (PDF) file.
