on great career search.com i try to submit my resume & it keeps saying "Please select an acceptable file type"?

it doesnt tell me what kind of file type is takes or supports. I saved it three times one as resume.htm another as resume.atp. and another as just as job resume and neither one works. i built this resume through buildaresume.com i saved it again as resume.txt and resume.doc and still it says please select an acceptable file type?

1. OK, so what type of file are you trying to upload? And what are the file types they want you to use? Obviously whatever you're trying to give them isn't in a format that they can use, so you'll have to save it as some other file type and upload it that way.
2. You are going to want to save the resume as a MS Word (.doc) or plain text (.txt) file to work with *most* companies or resume sites. They use computers to automatically search resumes for terms, and they need regular text to do that. If you're sending it to a person, you will usually want a Adobe Acrobat (PDF) file.
