How should I go about subletting an apartment in New York for a few days?
I'm looking for a place to stay in New York City for a few days, so I'm checking out sublets. I've never done this kind of thing before. I'm using craigslist and getting a lot of responses from folks who seem to sublet apartments as a business. Are these legit? Any other advice?

- HomeAway.com has lists of condos and apartments for rent all over the world.
- Check out this article all about the do's and don't of subletting apartments in NYC. It is a decent read. There are a lot of things you should look out for, but in general, you can save a lot of money by subletting. Often times it is a lot of fun, too. http://cheapinthecity.com/index.php?pages_id=51&t=Sublet-Apartments-&-Extended-Stay-Hotels Good luck!
