Paris Hilton can not perform live?

I was listening to the radio about a month ago and one of the deejays said that one of the producers on Paris Hilton's album said that Paris would not be performing any of her songs live. He said that they had to layer her voice like five times just so it could be heard on the track. Will someone tell me this, if she can't sing loud enough or if her voice isn't strong enough, why is she singing? And is it me or does that "Stars are Blind" song sound like a Gwen Stefani knock off?

  8. I've seen a tape of her "performing". But she sure can't sing - she can barely talk. I'm guessing they got someone to sing for her on the album, like Milli Vanilli

  10. I agree with you...so many people out there have a lot of talent and can't get a break...just because she was already in the biz, she got in easy and can't even sing!

  22. I agree completely! I heard the song and at first I thought it was Gwen!! The reason she can't sing live is cuz she can't really sing at all...and if she did they would have to do what they do for ashlee simpson...and that is play a recorded track of the song for her to sing over...these girls really have no singing ability but technology is an amazing thing. Im sure if they tried hard enough they could make me sound like frank sinatra..hahaha

  25. The girl has no talent... period! They have to "layer" her voice... which really means they are adjusting it electronically so it doesn't sound as bad as it really does. Please find someone worthy to look up to... instead of a spoiled little rich girl with no talent. Thank God she has money so we don't have to support her with Welfare!

  29. I don't usually listen to pop music but I did hear Stars are Blind the other day for the first time and totally thought she sounded like a rusty Gwen Stefani. I am so not surprised that Paris will not be performing live. The only going for her is that she is a rich twit that likes to flaunt her goodies. I have no idea why she has become so popular- she can't act, she sure can't sing, she has no brain and is a terrible role model (but so are so many other ladies in pop culture these days, but that is a whole different story). I can only imagine how many hours her producers had to put in to that one song to make her sound like the diva she is not.
