Does anyone know where I can get a hedgehog in Chicago?

Hey, I've been looking on Craigslist for a hedgehog in the city of Chicago but all of the ones that are available are in the Suburbs. Does any one know of a website that sells hedgehogs? Or does anyone know where I can go to purchase one, or anyone that has one for sale in the city of Chicago? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!!

1. Well I'm sure most pet shops don't sell them and also Hedgehogs aren't normally a pet, but you should just go looking for one in the wild or around the streets. You're bound to find one there. It is likely that it won't have a home anyway, so you're able to take it home yourself. Just make sure you care really well for it, feed it the right food and make it feel like it's in the normal environment that it should be in. Preferably look for a baby, too. Good luck (:
2. Check the breeder list at http://www.hedgehogcentral.com/breederusa.shtml There was a breeder right in Chicago. If she's still breeding and in the area. If not, there might be others in the state or close enough that you could find a nice well bred, healthy hedgehog.
