Hey yall...is 30 too old to go to back to school and do college radio?

because i deejay and i want my own radio show. Is 30 too late?

1. It's never too late. Go for it.
2. No way! I had tons of people way older than that in my classes, and it might be interesting to have an older DJ on the college radio
3. College radio is a blast. I actually did it both in undergrad and in grad school. Doing it in grad school meant that I was pretty much the oldest person at the station, but neither I nor the other students seemed to mind. I think you should do it. Find a school with a radio station - preferably, with more than one - and go there. Study your subject, and do radio. You may even be able to make something in the radio business your career when you graduate - just do radio on campus, and also do an internship in radio as you study.
4. I'd suggest going for a different profession, your chances of becoming a DJ are minimal... But 30 certainly isn't too old to become a DJ or go back to school.
