- DNC
- Not ACORN
- Americans
- 13 dollars per hr
- Democratic National Committee, MoveOn.org Political Action, League of Conservation Voters, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, American Civil Liberties Union, Common Cause,, Working America, Amnesty International, Center for American Progress, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and Save the Children. Is what the posts say. EDIT: The truth is that these groups have merged in the last year under the umbrella of a Main group called Organize America Now, and it is Nation wide in 50 states. AND the Center for American Progress is linked and possibly funded by the NCP National Communist Party, and NSP (National Socialist Party) If you think I am kidding go to the site CAP.org

- It appears to be a grassroots fundraising organization similar to one I worked for in 2004. They hire fundraisers for various organizations. Those fundraisers most likely get paid a percentage (up to a cap) of the funds that are brought in. At least, that's the way it worked when I did it. I worked for Grassroots Campaigns, Inc., which at the time was raising money for the DNC during the Kerry campaign. This organization currently works for the Sierra Club and Human Rights Campaign, among others, according to their website. So they are paid by small contributors, most likely, at least if it's similar to the organization I worked for, and the rest of the money they bring in goes to whatever group they are working on behalf of. That's a pretty common method of fundraising for left-wing groups. Right wing groups get more of their money from lobbyists and industry like Freedomworks, funded by DLA Piper (Dick Armey's lobbying firm) and Conservatives for Patient's Rights, funded by Rick Scott (who made billions off the current health care system).
- the democrats in some form or Organize America Now a front org. another via acorn or the seiu mostly from money funneled to them by the drug companies and other people in bed with 0bama, and here I thought Craig's list had a moratorium on prostitution!
- The taxpayers are paying the salaries of the people that liars for the government's position. The real "grassroots" people are the AMERICANS that are protesting. The idiot/plants at Obama's townhall mtg were probably paid for by taxpayers. Wow, we are paying for people to lie to us!
- I would say some contributions but mostly The Stimulus Money $787 Billion which much is earmarked for ACORN and funneled down to organizations like this one. Final Answer.........The American Taxpayer!! Basically they endoctrinate the naive young people. Fund For The Public Interest is a national nonprofit organization working to increase the visibility, membership and political power of the nation’s leading environmental and progressive groups. The Fund was launched in 1982 to develop campaigns and technologies to engage Americans in public interest advocacy efforts. Through our fundraising and non-fundraising canvasses, we've gathered over 20 million petition signatures over the past 25 years and raised over $20 million for our partner organizations in the last year alone. Current Fund partners like Sierra Club and Human Rights Campaign are expanding their donor base and passing tougher legislation against air pollution, forest clear-cutting, hate crimes, and special interest money in politics. We owe our success to the fusion of our staff’s grassroots organizing experience, cost-conscious attitude and work ethic with our partner groups’ issue expertise, initiative and vision. We're best known for our canvass programs. Over the years we've developed the nation's largest and most effective network for door-to-door and street canvassing—signing up members in high traffic, public places. We sign up sustainers—members who commit to automatic monthly contributions from a checking account or credit card—as well as one-time contributors. We are also one of the nation's most prolific signature gathering operations. We have pioneered other creative outreach methods, like canvassing at concerts and gay pride festivals.
