Are people selling cars on Craigslist are dumb or we are dumb?

I am looking at some Honda Accords in Houston, Tx for around $4000. I am finding some realtively new cars which have a KBB value of $10,000-19,000 and they are selling those from $3000-4300. I mean what is this? It sounds too good to be true. What do you think? should I even look at these cars?

  1. scam
  2. Whats the harm of looking?
  3. Most likley scams try emailing them. 100% sure they will email you back saying either they are in the service and are relocated in a different country or state and can ship the car. Dont belive them unless you want to get screwed over and wasting your time.
  4. These are the scams that have been popping up everywhere from eBay, Autotrader and Craigslist. There is no car. Just someone who wants your money. Flag them and move on.
  5. They have a name for them, they're called PHISHING SCAMS. Scammers use baits such as advertising cars at 20% of their value and wait for suckers to bite. Then they give the whole song and dance about being overseas in the military, blah blah. They somehow convince these dopes to wire cash and dissapear. Dont become victim #254747299.
  6. It's a gigantic scam. All the pictures were stolen from other ads. Never pay a dime until you have seen the car in person. But you will never see those scam cars, because all the scammer has is... *pictures*.
