I was just curious what games were played at your wedding.

- Can't remember any games being played honestly, just music.
- Risk, Kick the Can and Dodge Ball.
- It was great Almost Like musical chairs but at the stop of the music, everyone had to go into the audience and find things like a shoe or a watch, even toilet paper (they actually ran out of the room and came back) Last one back lost and another chair was removed and so on. It was hilarious. Then he had the usual like a limbo dance and such
- I'm not sure, I wasn't there, but my spouse to be was there. Ask her. You would probably find her playing games with the D.J.
- We did several at a wedding I attended, the garter toss was fun as they played fishing in the dark and the groom crawled across the floor to his bride, There was the choose your bride, where they blindfold the groom, and have him pick out his bride from six women and normally they switch the bride with another bridesmaid or the groomsmom. We did a different one where they had the groomsmen and the groom so the bride could choose her husband by touch only, his leg of course. Sometimes finding things online that can give you wonderful ideas.
- At recent weddings, the DJ has been forbidden from doing the Chicken Dance. Finally, huzzah. I've seen a game of musical chairs played for the kids in the crowd, I've seen a theme half-hour set where guests had to request songs with "love" in the title and see if he could play them. I've seen DJ's make quite a stir over the tossing of the bouquet and the garter -- you really have to talk out with them how to handle those two aspects of the reception! I've seen DJ's do a million things! Ask your DJ what tricks of the trade they know, and see what they have to offer. Sometimes you have to ask before you get their very best.
- A fun one we did at my daughter's wedding was as follows: every male got a key (discretely) then the DJ asked everyone who has a key to my daughter's apartment to please return it, now that she is married. Every guy in the place came up and put a key in a can that was placed in the middle of the dance floor. Then the DJ asked for everyone who has a key to my son-in-laws apartment to please return it. My 90 year old mother came up and put a key in the can, she was the only one. Another one was everytime someone sang a song with the word love in it, the bride and groom had to kiss. People randomly stood up and sang throughout the dinner portion of the reception.
- Alright I LOVED this at my wedding....the dj played that Apprentice song (donald trump),,you know "money money money monnnney..."And the bridesmaids verse the groomsmen to see who could collect more money for us the bride and groom...my hubby and i danced and laughed while my sister in law did things like a cheer or get a glass of water for a buck or two...and the groomsmen wrestled ppl to the ground for money...we got over 300 dollars..way better than the dollar dance....! Have funnnn
