Los Angeles area Craigslist?

I'm a Photographer, mainly but have been looking into directing and things of that nature, Ive found quite a few director assistant jobs as well as photographers jobs on LA Craigslist and I wasjist curious if they were too good to be true or what? I mean a lot of them sound pretty legit an some of the photography jobs don't sounds like they pay much, but still for extra money it would be fun.... Just wondering what the chances were of getting one of these type jobs from C-list? Thanks
