How would a radio station know if deejays are copying mp3s for their personal collection?

Is there any sure way for a radio station to stop people from copying CDs or MP3s for personal use?

  1. That question almost answers itself, like "Does a brewer drink beer?" But, they're really well paid and don't so much need to steal and bootleg music. The studios give DJ copies of everything to them as it is. You know, Gibson would give a special edition, custom guitar to Eric Clapton while you and I have to buy our own- sh-t, I wish I could. He is going to put the product out there like no commercial ever could. So, why shouldn't the guy who can put an artist on the forefront, or hide them away- the DJ- should get as much music as they can stand so we might hear it enough to want to keep buying it.
