Is "Taste This TV" in New York a scam? Has anyone been thru the complete process & been successful?

They want you to pay over $8000 upfront for a 26 minute video in New York at their studio and then it will be distributed to cable networks for review and potential purchase. They advertise on Craigslist. If you've heard of them, been thru their process and/or successful, please respond.

1. DO TELL - are there other chefs out there who've been taken? i think these guys are out for money -and have it all set up to seem very real only in the end, you get duped. there's no positive search on them - so what does that tell you?
