Where can I find apartment rentals in Berkeley, CA?

I am going to move there and I am trying to look for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment in Berkeley. Is there any place to look for? How easy is it to find them? Are they all in good (safe/quiet) areas? I heard they could be expensive, would $ 800-1200 monthly rent be enough (possibly including utilities ?)
