Has anyone ever used there degree from schools like everest?
Do people actually get good jobs after attending schools that advertise on t.v.(like everest, western career college, etc.) as a medical assistant. Are they just a huge waste of time and money?

- My dad only got an Associates degree from Devry, and he got a job with Bellsouth (now AT&T), he's been there for over 13 years, has a middle management position, and makes good money. Getting a specialized degree in something like medical assistance would make you a specialist like no one with a degree from a four year university can match. That's why they call it trade school, because you're there to master a profession. In lots of doctor's offices, private and public, thousands of medical assistants are hired each year who graduated from institutions like these. You go into a place like Kaiser or Blue Shield, and you think all the medical assistants walking around went to medical school? Nope. Go for it! If a normal four year university isn't for you, then cut to the chase. That's why places like Everest exist, I don't think their a joke. Good Luck!!
