Is my security safe and does yahoo check out emplers who search my info on hot jobs?

I have my resume on Hot jobs through yahoo. I was contacted by a guy that I feel is using yahoos job site to scam people needing work. I have all this guys info if someone would please contact me to investigate this man. He wants me to send all kinds of info by fax or mail ad tells me he can not contact me by phone till become an emplyee... Fishie to me... Thanks Ken

1. Yes, it does sound fishy. Do not count on anyone else to screen out scam artists - there could be thousands posting on web sites and no one has time to investigate all of the posters to find the bad apples. Not calling you until you are an employee is ridiculous. Why not? Long distance from Nigeria, perhaps? I would drop this contact like a hot rock. What does the Hot Jobs web site say about reporting improper use of the website? See if there is a way to report this person from the website itself. Good luck with your job search.
