Why are the people who make the music called DJs?
Refering to electronic genres: Why do the people who MAKE the music call themselves "DJ"s when really the people who mix the music with turntables at clubs and what not are the actual "Disc Jockeys"?

- i guess because they make the music kind of a bit like a DJ? And it sounds cooler than 'composer' to them. I dunno, I used to alsways wonder that.
