I am about a year and a half from graduating college with a BA in History. What government jobs can I do?

Im looking to get into a government position, not exactly sure what though. Possibly a Civil Service job, possibly military. I am really interested in the military. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for reading!

Of you are interested in the miltary you can enlist. Other side you are lloking at positoins that requior a BS/BA but in a a particular field and passing the Civil Service exam in the top scores.

There are few jobs for a history major, frankly. I would think of adding something more substantive, such as public policy, statistics or some business. The military would be good, and you would also benefit from some other substantive coursework. If you passed the test, you could enter officer training school.
