Temporary Housing (weekly) in New York?

I have family coming over to New York during x-mas. They need a place to stay for about 2 weeks since my small studio apartment in Nassau is not going to be able to host them. Where can I look for temporary rentals by the week or by the month? Please don't suggest www.craigslist.com since I already know that and wouldn't be asking this question if craigslist can resolve my question.
