Question about jobs in the Government and being an Activist?

I want to be an Activist, but I also want to work in the Government, because I think that would better my chances of being heard. Is there ANY Government jobs that would allow me to be a well known Activist? Like be an Activist, but so something else in the Government, since I'm pretty sure theres not Government job called "Activist".

1. You can try, but you have to be a Republican activist. If you're a democrat, the republicans will shut you down, fire you, and close any agency that you work for. The dems will run and hide. Republicans have no morals. Democrats have no balls.
