What website can i sell my puppies on?

In the California bay area and Stockton/Sacramento area. Ive already tried craigslist, but i can't sell them on that website. So I need a popular website. (They are 6 week old male chihuahua puppies by the way.)

  1. www.petfinder.com
  2. Maybe you should spay your dog instead. BYB
  3. Puppies aren't shoes. You don't sell them online. The wrong type of people could buy them.
  4. You do realize that California is already flooded with byb crap bred Chihuahuas that NO ONE WANTS right? Oh wait of course not otherwise you wouldn't have bred your dog. Contact your nearest Chihuahua rescue and see if they have room.
  5. Hello there. You can first start by posting ads in vet offices and pet shops, grocery stores or your work place, newspapers etc ; to see if u can sell them there. Perhaps u would consider asking your friends and family first, you want to know what type of home this dog is going to. Ask for a $200 fee. If that doesn't help then perhaps u should consider selling it on www.petfinder.com or www.dogster.com. I hope this helps. Good luck selling ur puppies.
  6. ugh, another byb with no one lined up for the pups, please dont sell them online, you have no idea who is taking your pups. if you cant give them to people who you know and trust to look after them properly then take them to a chihuahua rescue
  7. You should have had homes lined up for the puppies before you decided to breed your dog. 6 weeks old is way too young for the puppies to be taken away from their mom and siblings. It is Against The Law, to sell puppies before the age of 8 weeks old. With small breeds it is recommended that the puppies stay with their mom and siblings, until they are 12 weeks old! Spay your female so this never happens again and if you have the male, have him Neutered! Try a Chihuahua Rescue!
  8. Do not ask friends and family. You do not want people who only want a pup because you ask or because they decide at that point to take a pup because they are cute. A home like that has not thought about everything and buying on impulse like that is never or rarely going to be a home that commits to a pup. I sincerely hope this puts you off and makes you realise that you should of thought about this before you bred her. What did you think, that people would be flocking to pay you thousands of dollars for your byb bred dogs. Well you, and all the other ignorant people that have done the same thing, are why the rescues are full of them.
  9. Isn't CA so flooded with Chis no one wants that rescues are sending them to the East Coast? I think you are going to have a hard time selling them also because of the economy. Your local paper is going to be your best bet for advertising them but I wouldn't spend too much on an ad and would try to sell them for the best offer. You should also do a vet check on any prospective buyer and not sell to anyone with children under age 10, especially if the buyer is a first time dog owner. Spaying would be a good idea considering that CA's problems as well as the rest of the country's are going to take a while to be resolved. All dog businesses are being affected by the recession and that goes for breeders, groomers, pet stores, rescues and shelters because people are not spending money they don't have to.
  10. CA HAS A LAW, DO NOT SELL PUPPIES UNTIL THEY ARE 8 WEEKS OLD, and yes I know this because I live in CA. Good luck selling an over bred dog that is already flooding shelters, there was a story on the news about not being able to sell Chihuahua's in CA.
  11. You should keep the pups until at least 8 weeks of age, if not 12 weeks. This is what is recommended by the experts. I won't tell you again all the things that the others have said, but the world does not need anymore puppies now. Kijiji.com , they have one near you is a web site that will let you sell your pups. Ads are free. Please have your girl spayed with the money you get for the pups.
