I live in New York City, what are other places can i look for jobs other than Craigslist. Im a student?

A friend told me about Idealist.com and thats all i know. I am trying to look for like a receptionist or sales associate positions.

1. searching for a job is difficult, especially if it's ages since you last did it! I was jobless recently, but I found the resource in the box below which is very helpful in a lot of ways. By doing as they advised, in a couple of weeks I soon got myself a job.
2. google the job site 'indeed'. i found a NYC job on there
3. try the hospitals or some of the colleges. don't apply for sales jobs, the retail stores are doing very poorly...
4. www.indeed.com pulls jobs from many sites including employers, Monster, Careerbuilder, USAjobs, and the list goes on. this is a great site to search jobs on. I am skeptical of Craigslist because there are many scammers on there although some are legit. Good luck!
