I'd like to become a Vet Technician... should I go to community college or a private institution?

I'm looking into going to school for a Vet Technician program in California. At first I was looking at Western Career College but then I found several community colleges that offer the same 2 year program (still approved by the AVMA) for a fraction of the cost of a private institution like Western College. My question is, is it worth it to pay the extra money to go to a private school or can I get the same quality of education if I took the program at a community college? Are employers going to be more likely to hire me if I went to a private school? If I can get the same degree at a community college and it won't negatively affect my ability to get a job I'd much rather do that.

1. Go to community college. It's cheaper, it's more respected, and it's not a rip-off like many for-profit institutions.
