- No because I don't buy over the Internet. It's hard to tell a scam from the real thing.
- Never heard of "Greg's list" but have bought 2 computers from "Craig's list" and they are great computers. The response above is partially correct, but you just have to know your facts and that will protect you. Let the buyer beware. If you follow that advice you will be fine.
- do you mean craigs list? i've purchased many things successfully from craigs list, including furniture and electronics if you really meant Gregs list, sorry, but i'm no help there never heard of it hope this helps :]
- Craigslist.org is the proper name. It has a very benevolent history and a great origins story and it is included in Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craigslist Highly recommend you read this story and then decide if you think whatever city you are near will be as dependable. I live in the craigslist city of origin, San Francisco, and we are probably the most linked into personal computers than elsewhere. I have bought two brand new computers in boxes with available warranties from persons working in the tech industry. These folk often get computers as bonuses or for review and trial purposes. You should ask the persons on craigslist how they came upon new computers and get reference information to follow up on after making a transaction.
- I don't trust Greg, He'd sell his own mother's teeth out of her mouth. Now Craig from Craigslist.org, that guy like any other has good and bad qualities. You just have to trust your judgement.
