Whatever happened to a disc jockey I worked with at WORD -SPARTANBURG,SC in the 70's named MEL BLACK?

I wasn't at that radio station a long time but I worked with this guy. He was so impressive on the air. Did all THE RED ROSE MOBILE HOMES commercials. He left and went to ROCK HILL, S.C.(another station). One of those personalities you don't forget. He had a BAD LEG if I remember. We often stop in ROCK HILL on our way to FLA to eat at the WENDY'S. 1. Um, why don't you give those radio stations a call, maybe they know this person's name. You could also take out a classified ad in the local newspapers.
