I am starting up a Disk Jockey service called audio trio.do i need any permits. what should i focus on buying?

I have 2 other friennds who are in this with me. I have djed friends parties and i am djing my brothers wedding. I'm wondering if you have any advertising advice, how to get money, what to buy first, and warnings. I have one 450 doller jbl speaker, an ipod dj station, strobe light, led changing color to music light, and a Chauvet CH258 Cyborg FX. I plan on buying a stand to hold up the lights, and much more.
