Anyone know of any sites to rent houses without a realtor?

I live in Sacramento CA. Does anyone know of either any place you can find homes to rent that aren't through a realtor or a realtor that can work with bad credit? I've tried Craigslist and the newspaper.

6. Just because it isn't with a Realtor doesn't mean you will have a better chance of renting. There are lots of houses for rent and I am sure most of them aren't through agencies, but the reason many realtors won't work with renters who have bad credit is because the landlord is going to do a credit check before renting you the house, and the realtors aren't going to spend their time and money on you if your credit report shows irresponsibility.
