does the government do not call list actaully work or is it a gimick?
I get all sorts of calls coming through wanting to sell me any thing from credit cards to life insurance to colleges and or financial institutions( credit cards) and it is so annoying to say the least. I had three calls just this morning and no one said anything , until my husband got on the phone and asked who it was and then they had the balls to say something. To me, they just harrass and i am sick of it.

- Yes it works. However it will take some time to get the calls reduced. You'll still get some and it doesn't work for political calls or charity organizations. I usually tell people 'please put me on your do-not-call list' and that also works. If you have Caller ID, use it. Don't answer the phone unless you know who's calling. If you don't have it, consider getting it - it's very useful. If you're getting harrassing phone calls, contact the police. People who call and don't say anything are just jerks. Good Luck.
- Yes that does work
