How can I get on the Do not call list?

I heard there is a way of signing up to where telemarketers can't contact you. I have an unlisted number, but sometimes they still sneak through. Does anyone know?

1. donotcall.com or something like it but if you mess around on the inernet filling out all kinds of forms with your number it wont work because when you enter these forms you are consenting for them to release your number on a call list for telemarketing most of the time . but yes to answer your question other than that it takes care of the lot of them
