Where do you apply for section 8 or low income housing in Sterling Heights or Macomb in Michigan?

I am currently looking for an apartment in Sterling Heights or Macomb or Clinton Township, MI. I don't know where to go to apply for section 8/low income housing. Could someone please help me?!

1. Online at your County's website. Most waiting lists are 4 yrs
2. 322 W. Piper St. Macomb, IL the waiting for disabled seniors is about 4 years, longer if youu are anyone else.
3. You have to go to your local housing authority. This is not a quick process. The waiting lists are years long in most areas.
