Vintage 1960's oven - worth selling?

We've recently purchased a home, and are currently remodeling the kitchen. We've inherited a 1960's 35" Kenmore gas range/oven/griddle/rotisserie combo. It was functional until we disconnected it from the gas line to remodel. Our realtor told us he thought we could sell it for $$$$. Is this kind of thing valuable? Should we put an advertisement in the classifieds section/Craigslist? If so, for what price? Is it junk, and should we just sell to the local metal recycler? Can I get any money out of it, and how much?

  1. There are some brands that fetch high prices on the retro market. I am not sure where Kenmore ranks. List it on ebay and sell to the highest bidder. Call some of these guys and ask if they sell the model that you have and see how they are pricing it. http://www.barsandbooths.com/ http://www.vintagestoves.com/stove/newhome/ http://bigchillfridge.com/
