Is apartment rent cheaper in Seattle or in Portland?

I looked for apartments in Seattle under 800 a month on seattlerentals.com and found 91 results. I searched apartments under 800 in Portland on portlandrentals.com and found 4 results. What's up? I thought Portland was the more affordable city.

1. Portland is very affordable, I think expanding your search might yield better results. There are a ton of apartments in portland in that price range. I would suggest visiting local newspapers websites like The Oregonian's website - www.oregonlive.com they have a lot of apartment rental listings, here is the exact link http://realestate.oregonlive.com/for-rent. Also try craigslist portland there should be a lot there too. I've tried looking for apartments at portlandrentals.com and had similar results as you. Hope that helped!
