function of apple i pad?

i am a disc jockey. we generally use apple laptop for playing songs using software 'virtual dj' . can apple i pad also be used to play songs using same software for professional purpose i.e discos and clubs?

1. The iPad can only run stuff from the app store. It's pretty much a supersized iPod Touch. It's a cool piece of technology but really there's no point in buying it unless you have a bunch of money lying around and just think it's cool.
2. THink of the iPad as a jumbo iPod Touch...and nothing more...so maybe in the future more professional apps for dj's will come out exclusively for ht iPad but dont expect one for another 6 months (if it gets popular when it comes out in April)
3. No one knows for sure, yet. It goes on sale the end of March. From what I have read, it currently runs iPhone apps that have been modified for the larger iPad.
4. Actually, it can do much more than an ipod, if you've ever heard of the Amazon Kindle, it's like that and a computer combined... I bought one already!
5. Not at present, it will have iTunes though, but not much more. It will have less hard drive space also since it will be a flashdrive.
6. The Apple maxiPad is a waste of time and money. It's an iPhone that you can't put in your pocket and can't make calls on or take pictures with. What's the point?
