Flexible jobs for a freelance makeup artist to do on the side?
I am looking to build my portfolio and go on make-up jobs, what kind of jobs could i do that pays my bills, but don't suck me completely dry of the time needed to build my make-up business? Help =)

- working at stores like M.A.C are great you can give make-overs do your own makeup however you like and if your customers say its okay you can take a snapshot of their looks for your port. good luck!
- a job no one wants and because of that pays well - is doing make up for funeral parlors - certainly not everyone's first choice - but they pay more than most and the customers don't complain
- go to wedding conventions that sort of stuff - lots of protential customers there. also print some business cards out urself, always handy!!! word of mouth is the best way to advertise. good luck :) also pratice on friends and family! great way to show off wat you can do!!! - and dont be scared to try new looks!!!
