Are DJs (Disc Jockeys) basically losers who cannot make it as singers?

These days so many fancy DJs with fancy names and perform like they are rockstars at clubs. Quite embarassing when you see the way they dress to shock or make fashion statements. They are basically nobody trying to be somebody.

2. For someone who likes Lady Gaga (browsed your answers) that's a very bold thing to ask. Not sure which DJ's you've been to see, but let me assure you there are plenty out there who do it for nothing more than the love of the music. There are also plenty out there who make a very good living from it, without all the attached extras that you mention. The ones who are trying to make fashion statements are the ones you should avoid. They're all talk, no trousers. A bit like your mate Gaga.
