Splitting rent for 2 bedroom apartment among 3 people?

I want to get a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 people. The question is, how should the rent be split up? Should the person getting the single bedroom pay half the rent and the 2 individuals both pay a fourth of the rent? Or should we all pay 1/3rd the the apartment rent?

1. Split the rent by rooms. The person who has a room to them-self pays half. Split the utilities three ways.
2. The people people splitting the bedroom should each pay 30% and the person in the single bedroom should pay 40%. You are all going to be using the rest of the apartment, so it's fair to pay a little bit more for the unshared bedroom. And if there is a bedroom larger than the other, the people sharing it should get it. All utilities, cable, etc. should be split equally.
3. Hmm, this is tough. If all three of you don't want to share then you can have the person who really wants to have there own room pay half or 40% of the rent, and the two pay 25/25% or 30/30%. But im sure the two people who share will get the master bedroom, and usually when people share an apartment the person who gets the master pays out more money. In this case it's two people getting the master, unless all of you want to share, then the rent should be split evenly. Or you can split the rent evenly and have the person who has there own bedroom to pay the more of the utility bills(cable,water,gas)
4. Each person is using almost the same equivalent space, as bedrooms are only a minor part of the living arrangement. Just keep it simple and split everything 3 ways.
