  1. no way to tell what size that is from an internet posting like that. I'd have to see the parents. It doesnt even look like a purebred poodle, it looks like a poodle mix.
  2. Why do people buy from Craigslist? It's basically an accidental mongrel/dogs site and/or Backyard Breeder sight. If you want a mutt, go to a shelter. If you want a purebred Poodle, go to a reputable breeder and/or AKC/UKC breeder referrals. I'm also sure you can find Poodles near your area on Petfinder.com and other shelters. How big they'll get is all in genetics. Period. # Do you realize they give no information on these dogs whatsoever? Also, what's a "Puddle Dog"? A fail attempt at spelling Poodle or is a BYBer name for another Poodle x? ETA:@Kaylie- Umm? You said it was a mutt, therefore you CAN'T tell by "looking" at the parents. Mutts' genetics and what they'll look like is 1oo% random. Also what their weight/height will be, health probs, etc..
  3. looks like a maltese poodle mix, so probably not very big. However you can never tell until to meet the parents
  4. that is definetly a maltese mix...
  5. 1.) They can't even spell Poodle correctly. There's no such breed as a puddle 2.) It looks almost like a poodle/bichon frise cross 3.) Without seeing the parents, or knowing what she's mixed with (there's no way that dog is a pure bred poodle, sorry!!!), there's absolutely no way of knowing how big she'll get. The weight of a dog depends on the breeding behind the dog, and the genetics behind the dog. Nobody can tell you based off of those pics how big she'll end up being when she's fully grown.
  6. I think that is a poodle mix and it will get about 8 pounds. i have had 3 poodles and I know what they look like. It is most likley a toy poodle mix with a little bit of somthing else. And I think its great that you are buying pets of craigslist and it's not a place for mutts. I have gotten amazing dogs from craigslist and I hope you do too! Good luck!
  7. You should try looking at other dogs, especially if you want a purebred poodle. But the dog already looks small, and by the size of it's paws, it will remain that way. Large paws = large dog. However, if you're stuck on this dog, seriously question this owner and the background of the puppy to ensure your getting what he says your getting.
