Is the LVN program at Western career college worth it?
Im trying to figure out what vocational school is the best, or if regular college is the smarter route.

- I was actually looking into the LVN program at WCC and was wondering the same.
- IF the tuition is around $5,000. You can get yourself a pell grant to cover some of the cost. Your income would be about $50,000 a year after graduating. It would be worth it. You should make sure the credits can transfer to a R.N. program. People do go for the R.N. For 10 courses more you would add more money for check around $30,000. Just for some thoughts for you. Your income would be $80,000 or more after graduating. Go to a community or private. You won't be sorry. You have to be independent when going to career colleges, they don't give you much help. I have been to a couple of them my self. You can type in the name Western Career College customer comments. Message forums should come up in the search engines.\A Also try Www.Ripoffreports.com\ I just did a research search for you. There is a law class suit againt Western Career College Sacremento, California. It was the Ultraonic Program. I would not touch if I were you. Go somewhere else and wait it out until the program is opened up. The lawsuits claims they did not teach perfectly. The student could not get jobs. Good Luck.
