What is another good resource in San Diego to browse classifieds besides Craigslist and Backpage?

I have tried the local papers websites as well as UCSD's student classifieds online. Does anyone have any other secret resources? I'm looking for a roommate...

  1. You can put ads on all the free classifieds sites and see who answers to those. I know a newer website that offers free classifieds. It is at www.hubzi.com. I havenot checked the roommate section but the job section is pretty good...
  2. I am guessing you want a college roommate? Look in the bulletin boards on campus, I think 80% of my friends find rooms on Craigslist or ask Facebook peeps if they know of anybody renting a room. You could try the Reader, CityBeat or SD tribune classified but they are not as successful as the website ones since it's harder to keep track if its rented or not. Try asking your friends, that's how everyone in SDSU finds their roomies or yeah the bulletin boards. You'll notice also a wave of new ads on Craigslist will pop up soon when the semester is about to start.
  3. Try Uloop or the UCSD Commuter Services http://sites.google.com/site/boredatucsd/apartments I've always used this website and its useful links to find apartments I like and then used Uloop to find roommates.
