If the Housing Benefit makes deductions to pay money back, can I get a social loan to cover the deductions?
It's £40 per month, and the Housing Benefit people have already told me that they cannot reduce the deductions any more.(They are already deducting the minimum amount.) I cannot cover ir from my Giro as my Giro is already spent on debts.

- But...you'd have to pay back the loan in the end too: Why not look for a job?? If its your money you will probably have more controll over how much you pay back per month...and you'd have more self pride for not being a sponger.
- Get along to the Citizens Advice Bureau, if you are in the UK (There will be similar debt management charities in the US). These people will help you to examine and manage your debt. They will do a benefits check to find if there are benefits you are entitled to, but are not claiming. They will also get in touch with your various debtors to arrange a realistic repayment plan. Good luck
