Can anyone recommend an employment agency in the Pasadena, CA area?

My buddy is thinking about going to one and wants results but doesnt want to waste time. Theres AppleOne, Aerotek, Act-1, Ajilon Professional, Robert Half...to name a few... Oh, they’re looking for Full Time- Permanent but will consider Temp to hire if the situation is right. I said, I dont know but I'll ask. So...knowledgeable folks. Your experiences and insights please. Thanks

1. While looking for employment agencies in Pasadena, check the yellow pages as well post your resume on line. That is how I was able to find a long term assignment. Also, one great help to you is have business cards with your name, phone number and e-mail address. On the back the type of work you are seeking. It is a great help when networking with people.
2. In this economy, it's not a waste of time to go to more than one employment agency, if he's not signing an exclusive agreement. (Probably not for a low-level job.) If he really wants a job, he needs to hustle and put in applications everywhere. There is lots of competition for jobs right now, so if he's not doing everything he can, he is wasting his time.
