Should I move to Seattle or Austin?

lol i'm relying on strangers cause they're honest - I'm trying to have a music career, Chicago is basically a dead scene at this point. So I have choose between two places. I have some family in Seattle and I like the west coast the way the air feels, but it rains all the time there. Also I don't want to take a 48 hour greyhound bus there! But i've never been to Austin and I got many more responses about music from craigslist there, and am kind of curious about it. What do you think?

1. If you don't like the rain, you will not like Seattle. It rains 10 months out of the year.
2. Austin has a HUGE music scene, so if that's something that's important to you, I would definitely choose Austin. Seattle is suposed to be a great city, but you're right in that it rains a lot and they have very few sunny days, as oposed to Austin, where there's 300 days of sunshine/year. The only drawback to Austin is that it gets really hot in the summer and there's really no change of season there. Btw, I live in Chicago I don't think the music scene is dead here, but I agree that it's much better in Austin, so if you're into music, Austin's your best bet.
3. Live music capital of the world, dude. Plus anyone called Bubba will fit in ok in Austin.
