Do you now have to have an account to post on Craigslist Houston, Texas?

I have found Craigslist to be nothing but a hassle these days. I have been trying to post for several days and can't because they are saying I need an account to post. I have tried to sign up for an account, but for some reason can't. CRAIGSLIST HAS BECOME SUCH A HASSLE!!!! So, I found a Craigslist alternative called Backpage.com. I can't believe how similar it is to Craigslist. It's like Craigslist used to be, easy to post with no hassles. Backpage has lots of traffic and is easy to post. Lots of ads and users on Backpage, I LOVE IT!!!

1. I use Craigslist to try and find a job but some of the people on their seems to play games. They are some good people on there but it's getting harder and harder to find them. I never posted anything on Craigslist before so I don't know much about placing an ad I guess you could send them an e-mail and ask them how to set it up. This Backpage sounds interesting do you think they are better people on there, well I mean overall?
