What are some good apartments in Galveston?

I'm going to be a freshman at A&M in Galveston this fall and me and my roommate have been looking for an apartment. Our school ran out of housing so we are frantically looking for an apartment. I looked at a few that looked good, but I later got on to look at ratings and they we're horrible! We we're seriously considering Newport at Campeche Cove, but I don't know what to think now. I'm just looking for a place that's clean, some what modern, and safe. Any suggestions?
